Biography
Dr. R. Yuvaraj is a postdoctoral research fellow with School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He has done B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Anna University, M.E. in Bio-Medical Engineering (Gold Medalist) from the same university and Ph. D in Bio-Medical Electronic Engineering at the School of Mechatronic Engineering, University Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), Malaysia, in April 2015. Prior to joining NTU, he was a postdoctoral research scholar at the Neural Systems Lab, Department of Biomedical Engineering, University of Kentucky, Lexington, USA. His research interests are primarily in the field of EEG signal processing that includes affective computing, brain machine interface and cognitive neuroscience. He has received several innovative research awards (2), medals (4) and certificates on excellent publications and research. He has published several papers in refereed international SCI-IF (Science Citation Index - Impact Factor) journals (15), as well as IEEE international conference (2).
